Glossary of Terms
1. distributor (IC): Any eligible person who is introduced by a Sponsor to Tianshi, purchases a Tianshi Business Kit, submits a completed Application and Agreement to the Company and becomes a Tianshi Independent distributor after authorisation by the Company.
2. "Sponsor" refers to any person who fulfills the requirements as an Independent distributor of the Company and recommends others to participate in Tianshi business. He/she is also referred to as "upline".
3. "Direct Downline" refers to those people directly sponsored by an Independent
distributor
4. "Indirect Downline" refers to all those in your Downline but not directly sponsored by you.
5. "Direct Network" refers to the network generated through the sponsoring by any one of your Direct Downlines.(The Direct Network also includes this Direct Downline.)
6. "Same Status Downline (SSD)" refers to any Independent distributor in your Downlines at the same star level as you.
7. "PV" : namely Point Volume, the standard unit of sales value used by Tianshi worldwide to assess the sales performance of Independent distributors. PV is calculated in such a way that the sales value is divided by the conversion rate of standard money and PV. The conversion rate between standard money and PV is comparatively fixed unless a large fluctuation appears, thereby adjustment will be made and announced worldwide.
8. BV: This is the acronym for Bonus Volume value, which the company assigns to each product and is used to calculate the distributors' Bonus.
9. "Personal Business Volume (PBV)" refers to the accumulated PV achieved by an Independent distributor during a given sales month with his or her Tianshi I.D number on product order forms.
10. DIRECT Business Volume (DBV): The DBV consists of two components (both in a specific month): The first is the Personal Business Volume of all the Direct Downlines of a distributor that does not exceed 300PV; the second is Personal BV of that distributor that exceeds 300PV.
11. INDIRECT Business Volume (IBV): The IBV consists of two components (both in a specific month): The first is the Personal BV of all the Direct Down lines of a distributor that exceeds 300PV; the second is the Personal BV of all the Indirect Downlines of that distributor.
12. "Cumulative Business Volume" consists of three components; the first is the PBV that is 300 PV or less ; the second is the accumulated direct business volume; the third part is the accumulated indirect business volume.
13. "Network Business Volume" refers to the total sales volume generated in a specific month by the network of an Independent distributor.
14. "Group PV" refers to the difference between two sales volumes, for example Group PV =X-Y. X refers to Network Business Volume of an independent distributor in a specific month and Y refers to the Network PV of the same level or higher level Downlines of that Independent distributor in a same specific month.
15. Eligible N for leadership Bonus calculation: If in a specific month, the network Business Volume achieved by any 3-star Independent distributor or above in different direct networks reaches 2000PV or more, that will be called an eligible N.
16. As a Tianshi distributor you are entitled to purchase products from Tianshi at a wholesale price and sell them at retail for an immediate profit of 25% based on the Suggested Retail Price. You retain the difference, which is your Retail Sales Profit.
17. "Direct Bonus" refers to the bonus a distributor receives on his/her DBV in a particular month.
18. "Indirect Bonus" refers to the bonus a distributor receives on his/her IBV in a particular month.
19. "Leadership Bonus" The bonus a distributor receives on his/her Group PV of the distributors at the same level as him or her in a particular month.
20. "Honored Title Bonus Pools" refers to the total of bonus to be allocated to all Honored Title Holders from a revenue pool comprising 5% of the Company's global turnover for each monthly pay period.
21. "Special Bonus Pools" refers to the total of bonus to be assigned to all Honored Title Holders from a revenue pool comprising 2% of the Company's global turnover.
22. Life Achievement Bonus: refers to the total of bonus to be assigned to all Life Achievement Title Holders from a revenue comprising 0.5% of the Company's Global Turnover.
